Jon Reyes is a DJ and producer, one of half of the hip-hop electronic duo, DLRN. His music production work has been featured influential radio shows such as Soulection Radio (Beats 1/Apple), The Main Ingredient (East Village Radio/NYC), Anthony Valadez (KCRW/LA) and Hey Listen (NPR/Sacramento). He has also been featured on various publications and websites such as TIDAL, Okayplayer, Earmilk, and URB Magazine. As a DJ, he's partnered with and played tunes for brands such as Everlane, TEDx, Converse and Guitar Center. He is also one of the founders of San Francisco's ColdCutz! Music Club, a social club dedicated to the celebration and preservation of record culture.

Qing Qi

Qing Qi is the founding member of the Pu Tang Clan (San Francisco), and co-worker owner of Mandela Grocery Cooperative in West Oakland. A Bay Area native, she uses hyphy energy and witty lyricism to share harsh truths from a marginalized and often disregarded perspective. Femininity personified, she raps about women empowerment, sexual freedom, and communal reistance. Check out her upcoming web series "All Hail The Qing" soon to be streaming on Black Oak TV!

Nico O'Connor

A California "Bay Area" native, with over 20 years of dancing, teaching, and choreography experience, and now working professionally in Los Angeles, Nico’s dance credits include:
companies like Culture Shock Oakland, Mischief Makers, Breed OCLA
Ads for Wal-Mart/Latin Grammys, Sean T's Rockin Body Fitness, and MC hammer's reality show.
And has danced for artists like Kat Graham, Prima J, former Pussycat Doll Jessica Sutta, and for Pink at the AMA’s.
He has been an associate choreographer for MTVs best Dance Crew, Britney Spears Femme Fatale tour, and for KPOP group Girls Generation. Other choreography credits include, House of Lies, Todrick Hall, Keala Settle, Brian Justin Crum, David Hernandez, John Duff and Katya from Rupauls Drag Race.
An internationally known dance instructor, Nico is currently on faculty at Millennium Dance Complex, educating youth on the principles of dance and promoting active lifestyles. Creatively he’s known for his dynamics, visual concepts, and staging. As a professional dancer, choreographer, and instructor, Nico's passion for dance has allowed him to follow his dreams and achieve many goals, now able to share his experience and knowledge with others who share the same passion.

Hunniez

Hunniez is a women identified dance collective founded in 2019 by Tessa Shanley and Sandy Nguyen. Hunniez first took the stage at Prelude Norcal just before the pandemic hit. Since then, they've done video projects and performed at Full Out Studios' winter & spring showcases. Hunniez is made up of teachers & choreographers, but most importantly, friends from all over California who love to get down, perform and grow together. By living as their most authentic selves and unapologetically taking up space, Hunniez hope to inspire others, especially other women, to do the same.

Groove Theory

Groove Theory was founded in 2018 by current director, Leslie Panitchpakdi. They are the resident training team of In The Groove Studios, located in Oakland CA. Their love and passion for dance radiates through their great performances and dance videos. Even throughout the pandemic they continued to train over zoom and tutorials, turning a group of individuals that love to dance, into a dance family

Hell on Heels

Hell On Heels is The Bay Area's first heels dance team and was established in SF in 2019 by choreographer Julia Pereira. The team is full of badass dancers who want to unleash their wild side. Hell On Heels was formed to give adult heels dancers the opportunity to compete and perform in The Bay and beyond!

I’ve released multiple singles and 2 Projects - "Letter to my X" and the other project recently released in December 2021 titled "Where Do We Go From Here." I am looking to perfect my craft and gain more performance experience. My aim is to continue to create music that resonates with my listeners and flourish into a well seasoned artist.

This is a diverse group of 10 ladies in our local dance community, brought together to put on for the Bay Area community! We recently performed a set at the April’s Oakland First Fridays event. We are not a team, we have not been dancing together for a long time, but we all share the same passion for dancing and the work ethic to put together a great looking set. We are called PRESSURE.

Kamryn Chadwick has been training in Hip Hop for 15+ years with teams such as Chapkis Dance, The Pack, and 1Up Crew. She’s met dancers from all backgrounds, performed on TV, competed and showcased professionally. Kamryn has come to all DAMevents either to dance in other projects or just to support… Now, she’s ready to show you a project of her own choreography and training. -- "I just want you to dance and groove with me."
